Mozambique has few hosting providers, and almost all of them say the same thing on the front page: fast, secure, with support. That does not help you decide. What helps is knowing which questions to ask - and we answer them here too.
The eight points that decide it

What currency do they charge in? Some Mozambican providers show prices in dollars. Not a flaw, but it means the final amount depends on the day's rate and your card's fees.

Do they register .mz domains? Not all do. If they do not, you end up with hosting in one place and the domain in another.

Which panel do they use? cPanel and Plesk are market standards and make leaving easier later. A proprietary panel locks you in more.

How do backups work? "We have backups" is not enough: how often, kept for how long, and is restoring free?

Where do you ask for help, and at what hours? A WhatsApp that answers at 9pm beats a form that answers in three days.

What limits does the plan have? "Unlimited" never is. Ask about CPU and process limits - those are what make a site fail at peak times.

Who migrates your current site? And does it cost?

What is the renewal price? Not the first year. The second is the one you pay for a long time.

What each one publishes today
We looked at the public pages of the main Mozambican providers. This is what each one advertised on the date we checked - and only that; we did not test their services.

MozServer - advertises cPanel and also Plesk, free SSL, backups, .mz and .ao domains, VPS and reseller plans, 24/7 support and WhatsApp. Prices shown in meticais.

TurboHost - uses the DirectAdmin panel and advertises LiteSpeed, free SSL, 24/7, VPS and reseller. Prices show in dollars by default, although the site offers metical and kwanza.

Registar (registar.co.mz) - advertises LiteSpeed, daily backups, SSL and .mz domains, with prices in meticais and dollars. Note: it uses mozdomains.com nameservers, suggesting the same house behind two brands.

MozOut - cPanel, free SSL, backups every night before dawn kept for a year, .mz domains registered with CIUEM and transferred free, invoices in meticais and support in Portuguese: WhatsApp, ticket and e-mail 24 hours, phone from 08:00 to 16:00.

What a table cannot compare
Two things decide the experience and appear nowhere: how long they take to answer when the site is down, and what happens when the problem is hard. Before buying, send a technical question to each provider's support and see how long it takes and how good the answer is. It is the cheapest test you can run.
