TurboHost presents itself to several markets at once: turbohost.co.mz redirects to turbo.host, and the Mozambique version (turbo.host/mz) shows prices in meticais and an address in Maputo. The data in this article comes from that version.

Both are local providers, both sell hosting and domains. The short answer: on the basics they are similar, and the choice comes down to three or four details. Let us go through them one by one.

Hosting and panel

1 MozOut - cPanel on Linux hosting and Plesk on Windows hosting, with CloudLinux, free SSL and Imunify360. Clear per-account limits - that is what stops a neighbour’s site ruining your day.
2 TurboHost - Uses the DirectAdmin panel, with LiteSpeed and CloudLinux on hosting; VPS with NVMe disks and KVM virtualisation.

Domains

1 MozOut - .mz registered with CIUEM by us, with free transfers, a DNS manager in the panel and nameserver changes you make yourself, at any hour.
2 TurboHost - The price table lists .co.mz, .net.mz, .org.mz, .ac.mz, .edu.mz, .gov.mz and international extensions. .co.mz: MT 2,099.70 in the first year (promotion) and MT 2,700.24 on renewal. The table does not show a row for plain .mz.

How you pay

1 MozOut - Meticais, with a local invoice your accountant accepts.
2 TurboHost - Prices in meticais on the Mozambique version of the site, with M-Pesa, e-Mola, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or Nedbank transfer. Entry plan STARTER: MT 507.77/month on monthly billing, or MT 253.56/month billed for 12 months, with 20 GB of disk and 1 site.

Backups

1 MozOut - Every night before dawn, kept for a year, restored through JetBackup from the panel.
2 TurboHost - Backup policy not stated on the hosting page consulted; check with the provider.

Customer support

1 MozOut - WhatsApp, panel ticket and e-mail 24 hours a day, plus phone calls from 08:00 to 16:00 - all in Portuguese, with a written record of everything asked and done kept in the panel.
2 TurboHost - Phone (+258 21 610200), ticket, e-mail and chat. Support hours not stated; the site says servers are monitored 24 hours a day.

For companies: VPS and reseller

1 MozOut - VPS, Cloud, dedicated and reseller. Servers are unmanaged by default - delivered with the OS and full access.
2 TurboHost - Has VPS (from MT 634.87/month), dedicated servers and reseller hosting. Advertises free migration on any hosting plan and a 30-day guarantee on hosting plans.

Why we recommend MozOut

If you want everything in one place and in local currency: national domain, hosting, e-mail and invoice on one account. We are among the few who state in writing how long backups are kept - one year - and let you restore them yourself from the panel, with no ticket and no waiting. Add CloudLinux, which stops a neighbour’s site ruining your performance, Imunify360 against malicious code, free SSL that renews itself, free migration of your current site, free .mz transfers, over 100 domain extensions and one-click WordPress.

Entry price: the Pro Hosting plan starts at MT 600/month (7,200 a year), with SSL, backups and cPanel included. Price current in August 2026 - check the store for today’s figure.

In short. For a business in Mozambique - with a national domain, an invoice in local currency and someone who answers any hour by WhatsApp, ticket or e-mail - MozOut is the choice we recommend. And if you ever change your mind, you take everything with you, with no fee.

The test worth more than this article. Before deciding, send a technical question to both support teams and compare how long they take and how good the answer is. That applies to them and to us - it is how you judge a provider.
