How to add another domain or a subdomain

The same hosting account can serve more than one site. There are two different things you may want, and they are not the same:

1 Addon domain — a second, completely separate domain (anothersite.com) with its own site, in the same account.
2 Subdomain — a branch of a domain you already have (shop.yourdomain.com), no new registration needed.

Adding an addon domain

1 Register or transfer the domain first — it has to exist before it can be added.
2 In cPanel, open Domains and click Create A New Domain.
3 Type the domain. cPanel suggests a folder inside your account; accept it or choose another.
4 Point the new domain's nameservers to your hosting — see how to configure a domain's DNS. Without this the domain won't reach the account.

Creating a subdomain

1 In cPanel → Domains, click Create A New Domain and type the full name, e.g. shop.yourdomain.com.
2 cPanel recognises it as a subdomain of a domain you already have and creates it right away — no DNS change and no extra cost.
How many can I add? It depends on your plan. In cPanel, the right-hand panel shows your limits for Addon Domains and Subdomains — "unlimited" or a number. If you've hit the limit, an upgrade raises it.
Each domain has its own SSL. A newly added domain gets its free certificate automatically, but that can take a few minutes to an hour. Until then the browser may warn about the connection — it resolves on its own.

Domain added but the site doesn't open? We'll check the pointing.
