Whenever you need to point a domain at your MozOut hosting, you will be asked for the nameservers — also called DNS servers. These are they.

Use all four. The order does not matter.
| Why four? If one becomes unavailable, the others keep answering and your site stays reachable. Entering only one or two reduces that protection. |
When you will need these
| • You registered the domain elsewhere and want to host it with us |
| • You are moving a site from another provider |
| • The domain is .co.mz and the nameservers must be set at the national registry |
| • You want to confirm the domain is already pointing correctly |
Confirming your own service details
The nameservers above apply to every shared hosting plan. The details specific to your service — server name and IP address — are in two places:
- In the New Account Information e-mail, sent when your hosting was activated
- In your My MozOut, under Services → My Services, opening the plan
| On a VPS or dedicated server? Your nameservers may be different, or specific to your own server. Check the service page in My MozOut before configuring them. |
What if I am asked for an IP address?
Some setups do not use nameservers but an A record pointing at an IP address. This happens when you want to keep DNS with another provider — Cloudflare, for example — and only bring the website here.
Your hosting server’s IP appears on the service page in My MozOut, next to the server name. Do not use another customer’s IP or one copied from an article: each plan may sit on a different server.
After setting them
Nameservers are changed where the domain is registered, not in cPanel. Once saved, it can take a few hours to become active everywhere. To follow it, see how to check a domain’s DNS.
