The short answer: the site of a company that serves other companies does not need to be big: it needs to be credible, clear and easy to cite. Whoever is assessing a supplier looks for certifications, projects, contacts and downloadable documents. For that, a light site and e-mail on your own domain are enough, and the entry plan will do.
What the site needs
| What |
What to do |
| Credibility |
Who the company is, what services it provides, projects done (with the clients’ permission), certifications and safety policy. Facts, no adjectives. |
| Documents |
Company profile and service sheets as light PDFs, with clear names and a date. Avoid huge files: Disk Usage. |
| Suppliers and tenders |
A page that says how a supplier applies, to whom to address it and which documents are asked for, with an e-mail address on the domain. |
| Two languages |
Portuguese and English are common in this sector: hreflang and duplicate versions. |
| E-mail on the domain |
All contact with clients and suppliers through the company’s domain, not free addresses: Which plan for a small company. |
Getting started
| 1 |
Start with the entry plan with company, services, projects and contact pages.
|
|
| 2 |
Gather the documents a client always asks for and put them on a downloads page.
|
|
| 3 |
Create the e-mail addresses by function (sales, suppliers) and say on the page how to contact the company.
|
|
|
There are scams that use real companies’ names to ask suppliers for “fees” or to divert payments. Say on the site, in plain text, how the company contacts suppliers and that it never asks for payment to enter a tender. Protect the e-mails with SPF, DKIM and DMARC: SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

In our plans
| Situation | Plan | Why |
| Starting: company, services, projects, contact and PDF sheets | Pro | 1 site, 10 GB SSD NVMe, unlimited e-mail accounts for sales, suppliers and the rest, with a daily backup |
| Separate sites for divisions or sister companies | Plus | 6 sites, 20 GB SSD NVMe |
| Large document archive or a group of companies | Ultra or Business | unlimited sites, 30 to 200 GB SSD NVMe |
WHEN TO MOVE UP: when the downloadable documents start to fill the 10 GB of the Pro plan (check Disk Usage first), when a division or a company of the group wants its own site, or when a mailing to many suppliers at once reaches 100 e-mails per hour. Moving up does not lose the site.
