Creating a website with Sitejet AI in cPanel, step by step

The short answer: in cPanel, open Domains > Sitejet Builder and press Try Sitejet AI. You pick the domain, type your company name, your type of business and a few lines about what you do, and within minutes you have a one-page site with text, images, colours and fonts. You check the preview, finish the details in the editor and publish. The generator is only for new sites.

Before you start

What you need	Why
A hosting plan with the domain (or a subdomain) in the account	The site is tied to that domain and published to its folder.
A domain with its own folder	Sitejet does not accept a domain that shares its folder with another one.
A domain with no redirect	A domain that only forwards to another address cannot take a Sitejet site. Remove the redirect first.
Room on your plan	Each site counts towards your plan's domain limit: maximum number of websites.
Disk space	If publishing would take the account over its quota, you have to free space first.

Step by step

1	Log in to cPanel and open Domains > Sitejet Builder. The list of the domains in your account opens. In the Meridian look, Sitejet Builder also appears in Guided Setup, among the ways to create the site.

2	Press Try Sitejet AI and pick the domain or subdomain for the new site.

3	Type the company name exactly as you want it on the site, and choose your type of business from the list.

4	Describe the business in a few lines: what you do, for whom, what sets you apart. The text on the site comes from here, so stick to true facts.

5	Look at the preview. At this stage you can still change the colours, the fonts and the sections of the page.

6	Open the site in the editor and replace whatever is generic: the photos with yours, the contact details, the opening hours. Check the site on a phone too.

7	Publish. What happens at that moment, and how to publish again, is in publishing and publishing again.

If the domain already has a site, publishing the Sitejet site replaces the files in its folder. cPanel offers a restore point first: accept it, or the old site cannot be brought back. And the generator does not redo a Sitejet site you already have: for that one, use the AI Writer inside the editor.

The site comes out as one page. That is fine to start with: a business card, a campaign, a single service. If you need more pages, add them later in the editor, or start from a template instead: choosing and customising a template.
