What each hosting plan includes, plan by plan: sites, space, SSH, databases and e-mail

Choosing the Right Plan·· 2 views· 3 min read

The short answer: every hosting plan (Pro, Plus, Ultra and the three Business plans) runs on cPanel and includes SSH access (with the cPanel Terminal), MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases, unlimited e-mail accounts on your domain, a free SSL certificate and an automatic backup every day, kept for 30 days. What changes from plan to plan is how many sites you can host, the disk space and the e-mails per hour. So yes: the Pro plan has SSH.

Plan by plan

Plan Sites Space E-mails per hour
Pro 1 10 GB SSD NVMe 100
Plus 6 20 GB SSD NVMe 200
Ultra Unlimited 30 GB SSD NVMe 300
Business Pro Unlimited 50 GB SSD NVMe 500
Business Plus Unlimited 100 GB SSD NVMe 750
Business Ultra Unlimited 200 GB SSD NVMe 1,000

Checking what your plan includes, and using it

1 Find the name of your plan in My MozOut, under Services. That is the name to look for in the table above.
2 SSH: log in to cPanel and open the Terminal, with nothing to install (the cPanel Terminal), or connect from outside with a key (SSH on your hosting account).
3 PostgreSQL: it is in cPanel, next to MySQL. The steps are in PostgreSQL in cPanel.
4 E-mails per hour: check how many you have sent in the current hour in how many e-mails you sent this hour.
5 Need more sites or space? You can move up a plan at any time without losing your site: which plan comes next.
Traffic, e-mail accounts, databases and FTP accounts are unlimited on every plan, but each account has server usage limits (processor, memory, processes). If you keep reaching them, the way forward is a bigger plan: what really is unlimited.
The Windows plans (Plesk) and the Professional E-mail plan have the same limits as the Linux plans with cPanel. PHP, Python and Node versions are chosen in the panel itself. To choose between plans, see Pro, Plus, Ultra or Business.
